Champ greatly increases the amount of fleece (over the dam) on every one of his crias.
Champ is for sale.
This Jumanji / Conan / Royal Fawn descendant is stamping his density on every cria. His daughter's 2023 2nd shearings: Magically 5.6# blanket; Sweeetheart 5.2 # blanket, It's A Secret 5.0# blanket. They have looks, density, staple length, high brightness and well defined crimp.
His 2021 fleece still looks fantastic! He's for sale as we have his daughters and junior herdsire sons (Junior, Mister, Regent and Mahalo).
Champ has many award winning progeny including a first place Futurity daughter and is himself a 2x blue ribbon winner at the Futurity!
Champ has a rather unique pedigree and we know it nicks well with the Snowmass lines. He is a multiple award winning Jumanji son and is proving to be very prepotent with his many award winning progeny. As of summer 2019 he has 14 registered crias (born 2016-2018) and 11 have show records. Of those 11, six have multiple championships and first place wins.
Champ came to us from Finger Lakes and this is what they said: "Champ is a stellar male from the awe-inspiring Jumanji. Show placings for Champ's first offspring are amazing. At 8 months of age, AEREBELLA, took first and color champion at the Bay State Small Breeders Blast (her very first show). She then went on to stand behind CCNF at both the NAAS and NEAE. Having practiced, she then went on to take 1st at...wait for it...The Futurity. She subsequently sold to Alpacas of Moose Creek Ranch after the Futurity auction. REACH OUT AND TOUCH ME had some amazing competition as he is lighter in color but held his own at the triple show and went on to Champion against stiff competition. A male sired by Champ, ZATHURA, has garnered at least 4 well-earned banners for Never Ending Alpaca Farm. Champ crias keep surprising us with their high quality. The Champ offspring on our Spring show string helped earn us Reserve Small Breeder of the Year at the 2019 Futurity. Also, Majestic Peruvian Jumanji has received Herdsire of the Year for the 5th consecutive year (Champ’s sire)."
Champ has many famous Peruvian herdsires in his pedigree including: P. Bueno G173, 5Peruvian Inca's Ransom, 6P Conan, (Accoyo) PPPeruvian Royal Fawn and Peruvian White Out G170 and most of those names will be on the first page of his offspring's pedigrees. (The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.) Thus, Champ is a very desirable male to breed to all other Accoyo / Hemingway and Snowmass lines! He has beautiful phenotype, beautiful fleece, minimal guard hair, exceptional density and staple length, uniformity of color and character into extremities and uniform fineness (low SD), consistent brightness and a supple handle. So far he mostly throws the color of the dam or sometimes one shade lighter or darker.
