Congratuations to Country Cottage Alpacas on their purchase of Aspire.
Aspire inherited the best from both of her parents.
Aspire is very typey, robust and well grown for her age weighing 100 pounds at 10 months old. She has correct conformation, fluid movement, upright posture and lots of presence. Her blanket fleece is huge, with uniformity, very long staple length, density, fineness, handle, absence of guard hair (belly, back of neck and top of rump) and high definition crimp skin to tip into extremities. Even disposition, smart and easy to handle.
Sire is a Snowmass bred silver gray AOBA National composite champion with top EPDs for fineness (top 1.7% 2018).
Dam and champion granddam are from Accoyo America lines with top EPDs for density (top 0.26% density for granddam).
Check out all the EPDs for Aspire's sire and dam.
Her award-winning dam and champion Accoyo grand dam are reliable producers with easy births, healthy crias and excellent lactation.
Paternal blue ribbon sister, Reyna (MSG) , sold at the AOBA national auction. Alpaca Country Estates bought her sister, Silver Truffles (MSG), at the same auction and told us she is their best gray producing female (and won't sell her back to me). Irish Meadows produced her gray brother, P. Graphite who won First place at The Futurity. Our friends at Alpacas of Tualatin Valley, Delphi Alpacas, and Happy Valley Alpacas, also own, or have owned, gray and black siblings or other relatives of Aspire.
Soon Aspire will reside in the breeding pastures and we'll undoubtedly see her offspring in the show rings too. Achieve your gray breeding goals with Aspire. She will be a valuable asset for any gray program.
